Presented at the annual conference of the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in April 1997.

The fourth field season of this project included the continuation of epigraphic photography inside the tomb of Ray (no. 72), and the reclearance of the doorway and threshhold of the tomb of Ahmose (no. 121) in preparation for the construction of a new iron door. Issues and findings pertaining to these and other activities of the project will be presented.
